I know I could export MIDI from Sibelius into Garage Band and assign soundfonts from there, but that's not an ideal solution. I looked into this issue before buying Sibelius, and the Sibelius help files make it seem as though it's a snap to use soundfonts. If I had known that soundfont use would be such a problem, I never would have purchased Sibelius. I would just throw up my hands and spring for GPO, but I write a lot of organ music and my amazing "Jeux D'orgues" soundfont is indispensable to me when composing. So far I've tried five or six different soundfonts with Sibelius, but not one has worked. There is no scale confirming that the "Merlin" bank is loaded. I've tried selecting different banks in the mixer, but no luck. Thanks again for the suggestions, but still no sound. > Maybe this is an e-mail to tech support? When you load the "Merlin" bank, is there no scale confirming that it loaded? If it is an entire General Midi bank, then the numbers will apply. For example, some guitar soundfonts I use will sound if I select guitar (#24) for others I have to set it to piano (#0). What channel do have assigned in the Mixer?
